Mennonites are a part of the Ontario's cultural heritage. Despite all today's technology, Mennonites managed to maintain their rural agricultural life style and their presence on the country roads and in the streets of tranquil villages brings back the memories of pioneering and settling of the American West. The pictures and notes on these pages want to inspire a casual visitor of Toronto or Waterloo to hop in a bus or a car and discover the long forgotten past of Ontario.
